Our mission is to determine the source of disease and encourage an optimal level of health for a productive life, full of vitality, with maximum immune ability, minimal suffering, free of new onset cancer, and other debilitating disease.


How do we charge for services?

MPD Center is a fee-for-service practice, and our patients are asked to pay in full at time of service. Fees are based on a flat hourly rate, so charges will depend on the amount of time our practitioners spend with the patient or on the patient's behalf, including telephone and email consultations, and medical record reviews.

Do we bill insurance?

No. We do not participate as a network provider in any insurance plans. However, many patients receive reimbursement for our services under their out-of-network benefits. We understand the benefits by calling the customer service telephone number given on your insurance card. Or call us at (828) 414-9115 if you have questions about this process.

We encourage you to work with your employer to develop either a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Healthcare Reimbursement Account (HRA), as further savings on out-of-pocket expenses associated with holistic health care can be realized through these plans. Nutritional supplements, for example, are not generally covered by insurance plans, however your HSA or HRA likely can save you money on supplement costs. We will work with you to provide documentation necessary for reimbursement.

Missed Appointments

We appreciate that unexpected disruptions of schedules occur, and excuse one missed appointment per year. Beyond that, we charge for missed appointments. We consider a missed appointment to be one that was canceled with less than 48 hours prior notice.

Confidentiality

We do not speak to other people, doctors, or professionals about your care without your exclusive permission.
